Axe Glass & Glaze — Local glass & glazing
It’s been a busy few weeks and we’re very proud to launch another new website for a client!
Long-term client Neil reached out to us to help him get a website for his new venture — Axe Glass & Glaze. With main years of experience in the building trade, Neil was keen to promote his work fixing windows and doors and other general glass and glazing work.
Misty/foggy windows and uPVC fixes
While there are several large, national companies out there who will install new windows, what Neil and Axe Glass and Glaze are focussed on is the fixing, repairing and restoration.
Any owner of a home will know how frustrating it is when your windows mist or fog on a cold morning due to condensation. When I was at University my student house’s windows would pour condensation onto my bed, so I know very well what a problem it is!
Also, uPVC windows and doors are a great, modern feature for any home, but if there’s a problem with the handle, lock or hinge it’s really not something the average person can fix themselves.
Luckily, Axe Glass and Glaze specialise in refitting misty or foggy windows and doors as well as fixing issues with faulty uPVC.
Alongside these more unique tasks, they can also help replace broken panes of glass and even install mirrored feature walls in your home or office.
Covering the East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset area, Axe Glass and Glaze really are your perfect choice for fixing and replacing windows and doors.
Modern, professional and personalised
When I first spoke to Neil about a new website he was keen to create something that would initially help draw in business and generate enquiries.
One of the hardest things with a new business is getting noticed and getting that initial work. A modern and professional website really helps build trust between customers and your new brand. People will be wary of a new business that’s not presenting itself as modern or particularly professional and trustworthy.
When working on the initial prototype website one other thing that Neil was keen on was making sure his website wasn’t too corporate. During this pandemic and period of financial hardship, the nation really has embraced their local businesses. People love to shop local and deal with a local business. Neil recognised this and wanted his website, whilst being professional, to represent that it is a small, local business that cares.
We worked together to make a website that would impress people whilst also being true to the morals and practicalities of Axe Glass and Glaze as a local glass and glazing company.
The initial website took only 1 day to create, thanks mainly to Neil sending over great content to us. That initial design is almost entirely what is now live. I had listened carefully to Neil’s brief and I was able to create the perfect website for him and his business.
In summary
Do take the time today to check out the new website for Axe Glass and Glaze. As the business grows and becomes a great success it will grow too.
