Three new websites launched in the past three weeks. It’s been a busy start to 2021!
Colin and Jahanzab reached out to us at Tiny Blue Rocket to help them redesign their existing website. Their website, as is very common with new businesses, was designed by them using WordPress.
They felt it was time to develop their website and freshen it up for the new tax year!

Clean, modern & professional
While Colin and Jahanzab created a great self-built website, as with all DIY websites there were a few minor issues. Slow loading and errors on the contact page prevented them from being able to provide the right message to potential clients.
Having a website that was calm, clean and modern was the first priority. The website needed to show that they are a modern accountancy firm who is up-to-date with their knowledge and skills. Providing a design of a website that looked as modern as possible helps to bring across that message.
Making a website calm or clean really means making it visually appealing. A lot of my focus as a designer is on the psychology of design. Too many websites are still full of competing colours, fonts and content. It’s hard, if not confusing to use a website that almost evokes a feeling of anxiety. Keeping the website clean of clutter and calm makes it a pleasant experience for the user and easy for them to find the answers they’re looking for on the site.
The other important part of the brief was for the website to look professional. When it comes to trusting someone to look at and after your business’ finances, you would only want someone you feel shows the utmost professionalism. Marrying up the modern and clean look with an air of professionalism can be tricky, but with the right colours, fonts and design layout that can be easily achieved.
It was a pleasure to work with Colin and Jahanzab to create a modern, calm and professional website. One that hit all of the briefs and will help them grow and develop their business into the next tax year.
